The List of Waters in Gambia is a listing of waters in the West African state of Gambia .
Flowing waters
Most of the flowing waters in Gambia are named with the addition of Bolong . This suffix but will not distinguish whether it is a river is that a source of springs or a creek , in the region of the mouth of the Gambia in the Atlantic Ocean can be found. For example, the Tanbi Wetland Complex , with the exception of Lamin Bolong , is a coastal body of water .
Many Bolongs are written in the French spelling as "Bôlon" (also Bolon ) on the cards, these spelling variants are no longer listed here.

Gambia river system
Still waters
There are no larger still waters or lakes in the Gambia . Three ponds are known:
- Kachikally Sacred Crocodile Pool
- Sacred crocodile pool from Berending
- Folonko's sacred crocodile pool
Next the Kotu Ponds and the ponds in the Abuko Nature Reserve .
Swamps
The swamps or wetlands of Gambia are increasingly to be found in the east, in the Upper River Region .
