This complete list of Nevada National Historic Landmarks identifies the 7 sites that are classified as National Historic Landmarks (NHL) in the state of Nevada and are under the supervision of the National Park Service . In particular, these reflect the state's past as a border country. The sites are listed by their official designations on the National Register of Historic Places .

Lyon Fort Churchill, named after officer Sylvester Churchill , was a US Army fort built in 1860 as a result of the Paiute War to protect early settlers.

White pine A fort built during the Civil War in 1862 to protect links between the Union and California via the Overland Trail . Two of the four buildings were destroyed in a fire in 1992. National Historic Landmark status is currently under review.

The dam in the Colorado River with an arched weight wall was the world's largest hydroelectric power station when construction was completed in 1935. The provision of electrical energy, flood protection, and irrigation options were a prerequisite for the population increase and agricultural production in large parts of the southwest.

White pine The Nevada Northern Railway Museum houses one of the best-preserved early 20th-century railway stations in the United States.
6th Francis G. Newlands Home Francis G. Newlands Home 1963-05-23May 23, 1963 Reno

Washoe This was the home of Francis G. Newlands from 1890 until his death in 1917, including his tenure in the House of Representatives (1892-1903) and the Senate (1903-1917). Newlands is best known for the Newlands Reclamation Act of 1902, according to which the US government massively developed the irrigation of the west.

Storey Virginia City is a former gold rush town that owes its importance to the discovery of the Comstock Lode and Gold Hill vein in 1859. The Historic District includes the historic settlements of Virginia City, Gold Hill, Silver City, and Dayton.
