List of National Historic Landmarks in Idaho
This complete list of Idaho National Historic Landmarks names the 10 sites that are listed as National Historic Landmarks (NHL) in the state of Idaho and are under the supervision of the National Park Service . These document events from the Lewis and Clark expedition to the beginnings of nuclear power . The sites are listed by their official designations on the National Register of Historic Places .

Cassia | Thousands of emigrants on the California Trail made this a popular rest stop, leaving wagon tracks that are still visible today. The landscape, consisting of free-standing rocks that towered up like city buildings, forests and mountains was a pleasant change to them from the flat plains of the Great Basin . | |

Other sites under the supervision of the National Park Service
National Historic Sites National Historic Parks , National Memorials, and a few other sites are also under the control of the United States National Park Service , but like the NHLs, enjoy greater protection than those generally listed on the National Register of Historic Places , without being considered National Historic Landmarks. There are two such areas in Idaho.
