This is a list of cities in Cuba .
By far the largest agglomeration in Cuba is Havana with a population of 2,581,619 (as of January 1, 2005). A quarter of the country's population is thus concentrated in the capital region.
The table below shows the cities with a population of over 30,000, the results of the census of September 11, 1981 and 1991, an estimate by the National Statistical Office (ONE) in Cuba for December 31, 2005, and a calculation for 2011 as well as the higher-level administrative unit ( province ) to which the city belongs. Isla de la Juventud is a Special Administrative Region and does not belong to any province. The population figures refer to the respective urban settlement in the narrower sense - the geographical urban area - not to the city or municipality in the political sense.
