The list of stumbling blocks in Osterode am Harz contains all stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Osterode am Harz as part of the art project of the same name . On June 28, 2010, 14 stones were moved to ten addresses.
On the forecourt of the tourist information office in Aegidienstraße there is an information board that reminds of the Jewish history of the city and provides information about the location of the stumbling blocks in the city.

Ella Kaufmann (1873-1942) was born as Ella Mannheim on January 30, 1873 in Eldagsen . She lived in Osterode am Harz and in Oldenburg . On July 23, 1942, she was deported from Hanover to Theresienstadt , where she was murdered in the ghetto on August 11, 1942. She was the widow of Isaak Kaufmann, who died on May 11, 1923, and moved within the city from Brauhausstrasse 10 to Johannisvorstadt 24 in 1942. |

Louis Goldmann (1877–?) was born on January 4th, 1877 in Hameln and lived in Osterode am Harz and in Wuppertal . On July 21, 1942 he was deported from Düsseldorf to Theresienstadt to the ghetto and on September 21, 1942 to Treblinka to the extermination camp , where he was murdered. In 1902 Louis Goldmann moved from Hameln to Osterode am Harz and ran a shoe shop in the corner house at Marientorstrasse 10. Louis Goldmann was married to Selma Goldmann. They lived in Wuppertal from June 27, 1939. |

Selma Goldmann (1871-1942) was born on October 12, 1871 as Selma Bremer in Seesen and lived in Osterode am Harz and in Wuppertal. On July 21, 1942, she was deported from Düsseldorf to Theresienstadt to the ghetto and on September 21, 1942 to Treblinka to the extermination camp, where she was murdered. Selma Goldmann had been married to Louis Goldmann since 1904 and ran a shoe shop at 10 Marientorstrasse. They lived in Wuppertal from June 27, 1939. From March 1942 to March 31, 1942 she was imprisoned in the assembly camp in Hanover-Ahlem and on March 31, 1942 she was deported from Gelsenkirchen to the Warsaw Ghetto . On June 4, 1936, the unmarried housekeeper Helene Kugelmann moved from Osterode to Hildesheim. |

On October 22, 1940 he was deported from Baden-Palatinate-Saarland to Gurs to the internment camp, where he was murdered on October 31, 1940. Jakob Levy was with Franziska Levy, geb. Hochberg, married and moved from Grünstadt to Osterode am Harz, Kornmarkt 12 on September 1, 1927. On March 7, 1939, he moved to Untere Neustadt 16 and shortly afterwards to Karlsruhe. |

Amanda Bruckmann (1883–1944) was born Amanda Bruckmann on October 15, 1883 in Krefeld and lived in Wuppertal and Dortmund . On July 29, 1942, she was deported from Dortmund to the Theresienstadt ghetto and from there on May 15, 1944 to Auschwitz to the extermination camp, where she was murdered. Amanda Bruckmann moved from Hildesheim to Osterode am Harz on October 22, 1926, and worked there in the Heilbrunn clothing store . In 1935 she moved to Wuppertal-Elberfeld and married there, so that she then bore the name Rosenthal. |

Emil Hochberg (1874–1943) was born on September 10, 1874 in Osterode am Harz and lived in Dresden . In 1943 he was deported to Auschwitz to the extermination camp, where he was murdered on August 26, 1943. Emil Hochberg was with the non-Jewish Marta Hochberg, geb. Wetzig, married and moved from Berlin to Osterode am Harz in 1908. Here he first ran a clothing store at Am Schilde 15 and from 1915 on at Kornmarkt 6. In September 1935 he moved to Dresden with his wife. He was arrested by the Gestapo and then deported because he supposedly had covered his Jewish star . |

Anni Goldschmidt (1917–?) was born on January 28, 1917 in Stolzenau and lived in Stolzenau, Detmold and Hanover . On March 31, 1942, she was deported to the Warsaw Ghetto. Her whereabouts are unknown. On May 22, 1933, Anni Goldschmidt moved from Stolzenau to Osterode am Harz and lived there in Schildstr. 6 (today Am Schilde 6) until August 31, 1935, when she went back to Stolzenau. After her deportation, she perished in the Holocaust and was later pronounced dead. A stumbling block for Anni Goldschmidt was also laid in her hometown of Stolzenau . |

Abraham Rottner (1896–?) was born on April 5, 1894 in Sosnowiec and lived in Osterode am Harz. On June 13, 1939, he was deported to Poland. In 1943 he was deported to Auschwitz to the extermination camp and murdered there. On June 10, 1926, Abraham Rotner moved from Freiheit to Osterode am Harz and temporarily ran a retail business there. He was brought to Brotschen by the main sergeant of the Aliens Police in Osterode am Harz and deported from there to Poland. |

On September 30, 1942, he was probably deported from Darmstadt to Treblinka and later declared dead. Josef Wertheim was the son of Alex Aaron and Bertha Wertheim, with whom he moved from Leer to Osterode am Harz on October 1, 1907. From March 18, 1933 he lived in Ober-Ingelheim . |

Alex Aron Wertheim (1862–1942) was born on November 8, 1862 in Allendorf and lived in Cologne. From there he was deported to the Theresienstadt ghetto on June 15, 1942, where he was murdered on July 17, 1942. Alex Aaron Wertheim was married to Berta Wertheim, with whom he had a son, Josef Wertheim. They moved together on October 1, 1907 from Leer to Osterode am Harz. Alex Aaron Wertheim was a teacher and taught at the Jewish school in the front building of the synagogue, Langer Krummer Bruch 18 , where the teacher's apartment was also located. After the Reichspogromnacht of November 9th, 1938, during which the synagogue and the teacher's apartment were devastated, the family moved to Cologne on December 19th, 1938. |

On February 6, 1935, he emigrated to France and was deported from Compiègne on March 27, 1942 to the Auschwitz extermination camp, where he was murdered on April 18, 1942. Bruno Goldschmidt was a businessman and married to Rose Goldschmidt. The family moved with their daughter Eleonore Goldschmidt on July 15, 1927 from Nuremberg to Osterode am Harz. He fled alone to Paris on February 6, 1935. |

Eleonore Goldschmidt (1924–?) was born on November 7, 1924 in Nuremberg and last lived there. On August 7, 1936, she emigrated to France and was then imprisoned in the Drancy assembly camp until July 29, 1942 . From there she was deported to the Auschwitz extermination camp and murdered. Eleonore Goldschmidt was the daughter of Bruno and Rose Goldschmidt, she came with them from Nuremberg to Osterode am Harz in 1927. On March 27, 1935, she moved to Nuremberg and from there emigrated to Paris on August 7, 1936. |
