List of longest national men's soccer championship and cup series

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of the longest national football championship and cup series for men leads, separated by continent, to all clubs that have won at least seven titles in the national championship or five successes in the national or association cup in a row. Those countries or associations that are members of FIFA or at least associate members of one of the six continental associations are taken into account . Series that were completely won before a country gained independence or admission to FIFA or the respective continental association will not be taken into account. All title wins are counted, regardless of whether they were won in the current top division ( league ) or in a previous competition. In the cup competitions, only those that are organized by the respective national association and are open to all clubs - amateurs as well as professionals - are taken into account. Regional and league cup competitions , however, are not taken into account.
