Domínguez Lino started playing tennis at the age of nine. Their preferred surface was the clay court.
In 1999 she won the French Open with the juniors when she defeated Stéphanie Foretz 6: 4, 6: 4 in the final. In August 2002, Lino was banned for three months for cocaine abuse . On February 19, 2011, she secured her second individual title on the WTA Tour . As in 2006, when she defeated Flavia Pennetta in two sets in the final , she won the Bogotá tournament . This time she beat Mathilde Johansson in three sets in the final . She also won her six WTA doubles titles on clay.
For the Spanish Fed Cup team , she played a total of 14 games from 2006 to 2013, of which she won six. In 2016 she ended her career.
