Ludolf von Luck

Ludolf Friedrich Wilhelm von Luck and Witten (born January 12, 1817 in Münster , † December 20, 1895 in Berlin ) was a Prussian public prosecutor and politician.

Life

origin

Ludolf was a son of the Prussian general of the infantry Hans von Luck (1775-1859) and his wife Cécile, née de Saint-Luce-Oudaille (1798-1857).

Career

After attending grammar schools in Detmold and Münster, Luck studied law in Berlin and Paris . In 1846 he became judge in Spandau , in 1847 assistant assessor in the Prussian Ministry of Justice, 1848 judge in Nordhausen , 1849 public prosecutor's assistant in Beeskow , 1850 public prosecutor in Wriezen , 1856 public prosecutor in Potsdam and in 1872 senior public prosecutor in Marienwerder and at the court in Berlin. In 1866 he took part in the German War as a captain .

In 1862 and from 1879 to 1882 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1867 to 1870 he was also a member of the constituency of Potsdam 7 (City of Potsdam, Osthavelland ) in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation . In this capacity he was also a member of the Customs Parliament . He belonged to the Conservative Party .

family

He married Julie Ebers (1822–1848) on June 5, 1847 in Berlin. The daughter Karoline (1848–1870) emerged from the marriage and in 1867 married Lieutenant Colonel Hans von Quitzow († 1885).

Luck married Ida von Barner (1826–1898), a daughter of the Prussian Lieutenant General Ulrich von Barner , on October 26, 1860 in Potsdam . The couple had the following children:
