Ludwig Turban the Younger (born July 14, 1857 in Mannheim ; † November 27, 1930 in Karlsruhe ; Protestant) was a lawyer and official member of the Baden state service since 1882 , comparable to a current district administrator .

Ludwig Turban's father was Ludwig Turban the Elder (1821–1898), Minister of State and President of the Baden Chamber of Accounts . The mother was Sophie geb. Heyse . He married Amalie born on September 15, 1884 in Karlsruhe . Wundt (born March 20, 1860 in Neckargemünd ; † July 1, 1942 in Karlsruhe), daughter of Friedrich Wundt, privateer and city councilor in Karlsruhe. This marriage resulted in five children: Karl (* September 5, 1885), Emil (* December 2, 1886), Ernst (* September 13, 1889), Paul Victor (* June 15, 1893) and Elisabeth (* December 6, 1889) 1895).

After attending the Karlsruhe Lyceum , where he graduated from high school on August 6, 1873 , he began studying law at the University of Strasbourg in the winter semester 1874/75 , which he continued at the University of Leipzig in the winter semester 1875/76 . From the winter semester of 1876/77 he studied at the University of Heidelberg , where he completed his studies on May 20, 1879 with a doctorate to become a Dr. iur. utr. completed. After passing the first state examination , he became a legal intern on April 1, 1879 . In his education he went through the following stations: Amtsgericht Karlsruhe, District Office Karlsruhe , the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe , District Office Konstanz , district office Stockach and prosecutor Constance. He completed the second state examination on July 1, 1882 with the grade sufficiently successful.
