Ludwig Carl Franz von Doetinchem de Rande (born September 4, 1826 in Pansfelde , Province of Saxony , † April 13, 1899 in Sangerhausen ) was a Prussian District Administrator and Privy Councilor .

Life

He came from a family originally resident in the town of Doetinchem in Gelderland and was the son of the landowner Klemens von Doetinchem de Rande (1788–1860), co-owner of the Memlinck, Elderick and Althof estates and tenant of the Pansfelde and Molmerswende manors in the Harz Mountains and Johanne Lastrop (1790-1865).

In 1862, Doetinchem became the official successor of Hermann Alfred Julius Freiherr von Werthern from Brücken (Helme) , who had been the Prussian district administrator of the Sangerhausen district in the administrative district of Merseburg (Saxony) since 1843 . Doetinchem de Rande held this office until 1895. He was succeeded by his son Werner. He had the district office set up in the residential building at Ulrichstrasse 24 in Sangerhausen, which he had acquired. He was also a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Saxony .

In 1889 he was appointed secret councilor.

Doetinchem married Minna Lüttich on November 6, 1859 in Sittichenbach (* November 23, 1830 in Donndorf Monastery ; † January 15, 1919 in Sangerhausen), the daughter of the royal Prussian governor Karl Lüttich, domain tenant in Sittichenbach and landlord on Gehofen , and the Ida Lüttich ( Leimbach House ). This marriage came from the sons Werner von Doetinchem de Rande († 1917), successor in office as District Administrator in Sangerhausen, and Ludwig von Doetinchem de Rande (1864-1941), who from 1900 became District Administrator of the Ilfeld district in the province of Hanover .

During his studies in 1848/1849 he joined the fraternity in the castle cellar in Jena.
