Malabe (formerly Atadame , Atu Dame , Acu Dame ) is an East Timorese place, Aldeia and Suco in the administrative office of Atsabe ( municipality of Ermera ).
The place
The place Malabe is located in the west of the Sucos, at an altitude of 1394 m . The country road from Ermera to Maliana and Bobonaro passes it. There is a primary school and a pre-secondary school here.

Malabe has 1,566 inhabitants (2015), 799 of whom are men and 767 women. The population density is 292.2 inhabitants / km². There are 256 households in the Suco. Over 99% of the population name Kemak as their mother tongue.
Before the 2015 territorial reform, Malabe had an area of 16.20 km². Now there are 5.36 km². The Suco lies to the east of the Atsabe administrative office. To the north are the Sucos Baboi Craic , Parami and Laclo , northwest of Suco Leimea Leten , west of Suco Tiarlelo and south of Suco Atara . In the east, Malabe borders the Ainaro administrative office (municipality of Ainaro ) with its sucos Ainaro and Mau-Ulo . The northwest tip of the Sucos extends to the Magapu River . It is connected to the Lóis , the largest river system in the country, via the Marobo . To the north of the country road is the village of Genutete and in the very north of the Sucos the towns of Ilat Cora ( Ilatkora , Ilat Kora ), Ratkora ( Batkora ), Bobaleta ( Boboleta ), Lukowai , Baru and Batumigi . In the center of Sucos is the village of Acubuli , the southwest is hardly populated. The second primary school of sucos is located in Acubuli. The Suco has had a clinic since 2009.
The four Aldeias Batumigi , Bobaleta , Ilat Cora and Malabe are located in the Suco .

In 1975, four civilians were executed by the Indonesian invaders in Malabe .
politics
In the 2004/2005 elections , Placido Soares was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Luís Napolean won .
