Marc Pschebizin (born May 13, 1973 in Nuremberg ) is a German triathlete and adventure athlete.
Career
Marc Pschebizin was Duathlon World Champion for amateurs in Zofingen in 1998 . Since then he has also been a member of the German national duathlon team. He also won the International Duathlon in Central Park , New York . In 1999 he finished fourth in the Powerman series of the Duathlon World Cup. A year later Pschebizin became German runner-up in the cross triathlon in Immenstadt . At Powerman in Trier , near his hometown Wittlich , he finished second in 2001. The following season he won the Powerman Luxemburg and the X-Terra in Victoria .
In 2003 he won a duathlon in Bad Häring, Austria . A year later he won the 24-hour mountain bike race in Saalbach-Hinterglemm and came tenth at Ironman France in Gérardmer . In 2005 Marc Pschebizin won the Crossduathlon in Morbach for the fifth time in a row .
In the 2006 season he won the International Austrian Duathlon Championship on the long distance. He also started with a team of four at the Raid World Championship in Canada, where they finished fourth. Among other things, his then partner Tine Tretner was on his team.
In 2007, Pschebizin was able to qualify for the Ironman Hawaii with seventh place among the professionals at Ironman France in Nice .
In summer 2012 he won the Inferno Triathlon in Mürren , Switzerland for the tenth time in a time of 8:48:56 hours.
At the beginning of 2008 Marc Pschebizin won the Challenge Wanaka in New Zealand and was tenth at Challenge Roth in July .
The three-time family man is now a coach and trainer. He has been training Jens Roth since 2010 .
In August 2017, after a five-year break, the 44-year-old competed in the Inferno Triathlon again and finished third.
