Marius Adrian Sowislo (born November 14, 1982 in Bytom , Poland ) is a former German soccer player . The midfielder was most recently under contract with 1. FC Magdeburg .

Career

Sowislo was born in Bytom , Poland , in Silesia , but spent most of his childhood in Westphalia . He began his career in the youth of VfL Bochum (played there in the C-youth) and later with Werner SV. In 2003 he joined the DJK TuS Hordel and played his first men's games here. In 2004 he switched to Wuppertaler SV , where he shuttled between the first and second team and where both were regularly deployed. In 2005 Sowislo celebrated winning the Niederrhein Cup with the first team .

In 2006 he joined Preußen Münster , where from then on he was only used in the first team. After an average season of 2006/07 , the 2007/08 season saw the double of the championship in the Oberliga Westfalen and the associated promotion to the Regionalliga West as well as the success in the Westphalia Cup . The first regional league season in 2008/09 was also successful: On the one hand, they were able to take a good fourth place in the league and also celebrate defending their title in the Westphalia Cup. In three years, Sowislo played 79 league games for Münster and scored 23 goals.

In the summer of 2009 he moved to 1. FC Kleve , who had been relegated from the Regionalliga West. In the NRW League season 2009/10 Sowislo reached a midfield position with Kleve. In the following season , the club had a bad first half of the season, which had to log out of the game at the end of December, making Sowislo clubless. He switched to Sportfreunde Siegen on January 1, 2011 , where he immediately developed into a regular player. After five games for the Siegener, however, Sowislo suffered a metatarsal fracture and fell out for the rest of the season and the first four months of the following season . On December 4, 2011, Sowislo made his comeback and then played a few more times for Sportfreunde, but could no longer establish himself in the team with which he made promotion to the Regionalliga West at the end of the season. In total, Sowislo completed 18 league games for victories.

In 2012 he moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for 1. FC Magdeburg . After some start-up time in the 2012/13 season , Sowislo became a regular player and was able to win the state cup with the FCM . For the 2013/14 season Sowislo was the new team captain of the Magdeburg team and led them to second place in the table behind the sovereign champions TSG Neustrelitz . In this season, in which Sowislo played almost every minute of the competitive game for Magdeburg, the state cup was won again. In the 2014/15 season , Sowislo became champions of the Northeast Regional Football League with FCM . He was also on the field in the promotion games to the 3rd division . In this one defeated the Kickers Offenbach and made the ascent perfect.

Sowislo made his third division debut on the 1st matchday of the 2015/16 season , July 24, 2015, in a 2-1 opening win over FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . The player scored his first third division goal with a penalty on matchday four. In 2018 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with 1. FC Magdeburg. He then ended his career as a player.
