Mark is a street settlement on the federal highway 89 in the northern part of the town of Neuhaus-Schierschnitz.
history
Mark was first mentioned in a document in 1162. In 1923 the village was merged with the neighboring towns of Buch , Gessendorf , Neuhaus and Schierschnitz to form the community of Neuhaus-Schierschnitz.
