Ferk competed in her first FIS race in December 2003 at the age of 15. In February 2006 the first use in the European Cup followed . In the 2006/07 season she was second in the overall European Cup ranking and first in the combined ranking with two wins. At the Junior World Championships 2007 Ferk was third in the combination , fourth in slalom, fourth in super-G and sixth in giant slalom.
On January 21, 2007 Ferk drove for the first time in a World Cup race and reached 18th place in the giant slalom in Cortina d'Ampezzo . Then she was nominated for the 2007 World Championships in Åre and finished 26th in both slalom and giant slalom. In the 2008/09 season she reached her first podium on January 30, 2009 as third in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen slalom . Until then, three 15th places had been her best results. Shortly afterwards, Ferk took part in the World Championships in Val-d'Isère and started in all disciplines. In a great combination she drove to her best result in tenth place.
A year later, at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver , she achieved 15th place in the super combined as the best place. On March 6, 2010, she narrowly missed the podium in fourth place in the Crans-Montana World Cup run . Previously, a 13th place in the super combined of Val-d'Isère was her best result in the 2009/10 season . At the 2011 World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Ferk's best results were ninth place in the super combination and twelfth place in the downhill. In the World Cup, however, she did not finish in any of the fastest 15 races in the 2010/11 season , but she again achieved top 10 results in the 2011/12 season.
