Masked Emotions is an American film drama by David Butler and Kenneth Hawks from the year 1929 . The film is based on the novel Son of Anak by Ben Ames Williams .

Thad falls into the clutches of Lee Wing, who smuggles the Chinese into America. The captain of this ship is Captain Goodell, father of Emily, who is in a relationship with Bramdlet. When Bram learns that Lee Wing has stabbed his younger brother Thad, he is furious and is able to free his brother. Bram is able to take his wounded brother to the mainland and is delighted that his lover has nothing to do with this conspiracy.
