The Talisman (Original title: King Richard and the Crusaders ) is an American adventure film by David Butler from 1954, based on the novel The Talisman by Sir Walter Scott .

While Richard the Lionheart is on a crusade , his land is occupied by conspirators. Knight Kenneth is able to free the cousin of King Richard from the clutches of the conspirators. Together with him and his rival Saladin, Richard can defeat the conspirators and drive them from his country.
