The Hell of Dien Bien Phu (Original title: Jump Into Hell ) is an American war film directed by David Butler from 1955. The film is loosely based on the Battle of Điện Biên Phủ during the First Indochina War from 1954.

On the 56th day of the siege of Điện Biên Phủ, the French soldiers around Captain Guy Bertrand arrive and fight against the Communist Party of Vietnam. The battle is lost, but Bertrand and his soldiers are able to leave Điện Biên Phủ shortly before the defeat .

The film premiered on May 6, 1955 in Los Angeles . In West Germany the film was released on April 12, 1963 and in Austria the film was shown from January 1964.
It was one of the first films to deal with the Indochina War and the Battle of Điện Biên Phủ. Patricia Blair made her acting debut in this film.

The Lexicon of International Films wrote that "the cinematic sketches of a lost pile have little to do with the real tragedy of Dien Bien Phu".
