Matthias Dittmer
Matthias Dittmer (born September 23, 1954 in Potsdam ) is a German actor and politician .
Life
The actor and politician Matthias Dittmer was born in Potsdam in 1954. He grew up in Wiesbaden , where he made up his Abitur after training to be a machine fitter. After studying at the Hanover University of Music and Theater , he began his career as an actor.
He worked in well-known German television series such as Tatort , Das Traumschiff and Polizeiruf 110 . Dittmer was also able to make a name for himself as a film actor, for example in the movies September and Emilia . In the television film Operation Zucker , which won the German Television Award for Best Television Film in 2013 , Dittmer can be seen as the politician Kurt Wagner.
Matthias Dittmer also played theater regularly, including 1981 to 1989 in the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus and 2009 to 2010 in the Theater am Potsdamer Platz (Berlin).
In the Brandenburg municipal elections on May 26, 2019, Dittmer was elected for Bündnis90 / Die Grünen in the city council of Wittstock / Dosse and belongs to the joint parliamentary group of SPD & Bündnis90 / Die Grünen.
For the Brandenburg state elections in 2019 , Dittmer is running as a direct candidate in the state electoral district of Prignitz II / Ostprignitz-Ruppin II .
