Max Kupfer (born April 21, 1982 in Schweinfurt ) (also known as Max Kidd ) is a German actor .

life and career

At the age of 14 he attended a sports boarding school in Würzburg and after secondary school he went to a high school in Cincinnati , where he also graduated. After completing his high school diploma in art and design in Würzburg, he attended the Munich drama school "Actors in Motion".

In 2007, Kupfer received the role of Philipp Krone in the TV series Unter Uns . This was his first role on German television. Before that, he already gained experience in short films . He played in Teufels Kreis , The Kid and Pizza Diavolo , among others . As a stage actor, Kupfer appeared in the play Sommerliebe in 2005, directed by Lars Vogel . This was followed by episode roles in the series Der Bergdoktor with Hans Sigl , Die Rosenheim-Cops and a role in the ARD film Zimmer mit Tante .

In the movie Hangtime - No easy game , produced by Tom Spieß and Sönke Wortmann ( Little Shark Entertainment ), copper plays the leading role in his first movie. With this film he won the German Film Award in the category of male drama in July 2009 , which was presented at the Munich Film Festival .

In addition to acting, Kupfer writes scripts. For example, he shot the short film A Dreamer's Dream with Max Nuechtern , which he wrote and produced himself.

Since 2009 he has been working with the production company Gilles Mann on the realization of a script that will be a gangster parody and will appear under the name Firzi (working title).

In 2011 he played alongside Eva-Maria Grein von Friedl and Tobias Oertel in the RTL film IK1 - tourists in danger . In 2014 he was one of the various German actors in Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies - The Negotiator .
