Max Philip Koch
Max Philip Koch , also Max Koch , (born January 7, 1988 in Berlin ) is a German actor .
Life
Koch was born in Berlin as the son of the actor Wolfram Koch and grew up in Hessen . In 2008 he graduated from the Heinrich-von-Gagern-Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main . He then studied art history in 2009 and 2010 at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
From the end of November 2010, Koch stood in front of the camera for the Frankfurt Tatort: A Better World , in which he took on one of the leading roles. He played Max Böhm, the friend of the main female character Mariam Sert ( Vicky Krieps ). The first broadcast was in May 2011.
From 2012 to 2016 Koch studied acting at the Rostock University of Music and Theater (HMT Rostock). As early as 2013 he appeared at the HMT Rostock in a public prelude to the pre-classical with scenes by Ferdinand from Kabale und Liebe . Koch played at the HMT Rostock a. a. in the dance project Eigennichtartig - A piece of movement (2014; director: Romy Hochbaum) and Jörg in the play Shoppen by Ralph Westhoff (2015; director: Uta Koschel ).
2014 he took over the role of the comic old Donna Catte in Carlo Goldoni's comedy Il Campiello in a version of Goldoni by Peter Turrini . With this production, which was directed by Esther Zschieschow, Koch also went on tour . In 2014 he played the main role of Mario, the best friend of the male main character, in the musical Sonnenallee by Thomas Brussig at the Rostock Volkstheater .
In 2015 he received the ensemble award at the Theatertreffen of German-speaking drama students in Bochum for his participation in “Eigennichtartig - Ein Stückbewegung” .
Since the 2016/17 season he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Residenztheater Munich . So far he has played there a. a. Schweizer in Die Räuber (premiere: season 2016/17, director: Ulrich Rasche ), Lennox in Macbeth (premiere: season 2016/17, director: Andreas Kriegenburg ), Mischa in Kinder der Sonne (premiere: season 2017/18, director: David Bösch ), Stanley in Richard III. (Premiere: 2017/18 season, director: Michael Thalheimer ) and Parma in Don Karlos (premiere: 2017/18 season, director: Martin Kušej ).
In August 2015, Koch stood in front of the camera for the feature film Before the Ashes . In October 2015 he was seen in a supporting role in the ZDF crime film Das Dorf der Murderer ; he played the policeman Sven, the colleague of the female main character Sanela Beara ( Alina Levshin ). In Polizeiruf 110: Tatorte (2018), the last case of the chief detective Hanns von Meuffels , which was partly set in Nuremberg , Koch played a supporting role as LKA police student Leon Burger. In the 5th season of the TV series All Friendship - The Young Doctors (2020), he, alongside Vinzenz Wagner , had a leading role as Fred Wacker, who did not break the trust of his best friend who slept with Fred's wife can handle.
Koch lives in Munich .
