Chief Inspector Hanns von Meuffels is a fictional person from the ARD crime series Polizeiruf 110 , played by Matthias Brandt and who investigated a total of 15 cases from 2011 to 2018.

Chief Inspector Hanns von Meuffels investigates in Munich. Matthias Brandt and Anna Maria Sturm replaced Stefanie Stappenbeck (Uli Steiger) and the late Jörg Hube (Friedrich Pape) as the investigative team of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation . Anna Maria Sturm left the series after five films; since then Matthias Brandt has investigated alone.
