The chief detective Doreen Brasch , played by Claudia Michelsen , is a fictional person investigating in Magdeburg from the ARD crime series Polizeiruf 110 . In her first five cases she was supported by Chief Inspector Jochen Drexler, played by Sylvester Groth , and in the following six cases by Chief Inspector Dirk Köhler, represented by Matthias Matschke .

Michelsen and Groth succeeded MDR investigators Schmücke and Schneider in 2013 , played by Jaecki Schwarz and Wolfgang Winkler . Sylvester Groth left the series in 2015 after five episodes. His successor was Matthias Matschke as Chief Inspector Dirk Köhler, who stopped again in 2019 after his sixth case.
