The chief detective Olga Lenski , played by Maria Simon , is a fictional character from the ARD crime series Polizeiruf 110 .

background

From 2011 to 2015, Olga Lenski investigated as chief detective at the side of the experienced Brandenburg village police officer Horst Krause . Since 2015 Lenski has been investigating Adam Raczek ( Lucas Gregorowicz ) in the first German-Polish homicide squad in Świecko . She is starting a new career and forms a German-Polish duo with her new colleague.

The place of investigation for the first cases in which Lenski investigated alongside Police Chief Master Krause was the state of Brandenburg . The film was shot in the state of Brandenburg and in Berlin.

At the beginning of 2019 it was announced that Simon would get out of the Police Call 110 series. The last episode is scheduled to air in autumn 2020.

Chief Inspector Olga Lenski, played by Maria Simon , turned down a senior civil servant career at the BKA in Wiesbaden , because it was more important to her to investigate in her old home Brandenburg, where her roots are. The bureaucratic hurdles associated with a career at the BKA and the limited area of responsibility made such a decision all the easier for her.

Her start in her new area of activity was not easy for both sides, as her colleagues could not figure out why she exchanged an attractive position with all the possibilities for a police station in Brandenburg. She and her new colleague, the district policeman Horst Krause, with whom she worked from then on, were initially like fire and water. Krause rarely got out of his hometown and only just made it to the Baltic Sea , Lenski, on the other hand, has traveled widely, lived in New York for a while , also likes to spend the night in her van and has made contacts with many different people in different places .

However, Lenski quickly realizes how valuable Krause's work is for her, as he not only has excellent local knowledge, but also knows and understands the people of his homeland very well.

Olga Lenski has a daughter who, however, lives with her father and with whom she only has occasional contact, which is not easy for her, but cannot be regulated otherwise due to her job.

Adam Raczek

Chief Detective Adam Raczek, played by Lucas Gregorowicz , was born in Poland and grew up in Gelsenkirchen . He lives with his wife and two children in a village in Poland, near the border with Germany, and has been investigating for the German-Polish police station since 2007. Motorcycling is one of his hobbies.

Police chief Horst Krause, played by Horst Krause , can already look back on many years of experience at the side of the inspectors after having already appeared in two cases by Tanja Voigt ( Kurzer Traum , Das Wunder von Wustermark ) as a village police officer (Herbert or Horst Krause) Rosenbaum and Herz look back when he is confronted with his young superior Olga Lenski. Four times he supported the detective chief commissioner Wanda Rosenbaum ( Jutta Hoffmann ) and twelve times he worked side by side with chief commissioner Johanna Herz ( Imogen Kogge ). Olga Lenski's first criminal case, The Lost Daughter, was already his 17th case. In his 19th case, he also supported Chief Detective Tamara Rusch ( Sophie Rois ), who represented Lenski during her maternity leave.

His profession was his calling; he determined with all his dedication and a lot of personal commitment. He always traveled to work sites on his motorcycle, with his faithful dog “Vera” almost always accompanying him in the sidecar. You could tell that he knew how to enjoy himself.
