After attending the independent Farbmühle design school in Lucerne from 1990 to 1992, Graber completed an apprenticeship as a stone sculptor in Hochdorf LU from 1993 to 1997 . After a year of freelance work in Emmenbrücke and employment in the Bellform art foundry in Neuheim ZG, he studied sculpture with Bernd Göbel at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art in Halle from 1999 to 2005 in Halle an der Saale . From 2002 to 2003 she was an exchange student for one semester at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon . In 2005 she received her degree as a qualified sculptor. Her diploma thesis was a life-size group of figures made of colorfully pigmented grout in Halle an der Saale. The three figures were willfully destroyed after a short time. As a result, a community foundation was set up under the title “Helft Frau Roth”, which collected the financial means for the restoration of the bronze figures in order to set an example against destruction and violence in the city of Halle.

Following her studies, Graber was Bernd Göbel's master class student until 2007 .

Since 2000 she has been making medals at the suggestion of Bernd Göbel . They now occupy a large part of their work, and Graber's work is characterized by the frequent use of the metal bismuth, which is rarely used in numismatics , and alloys containing bismuth.

Graber lives and works in Geschinen in the canton of Valais and in Halle an der Saale.
