Meaghan Rath (born June 18, 1986 in Montreal , Québec ) is a Canadian actress . She was best known for her roles in Match Point for Love and The Assistens . Between 2011 and 2014 she portrayed the ghost Sally Malik in the US version of Being Human .

Life

Meaghan Rath was born in Montreal , Canada and studied Cinema and Communications at Dawson College in Montreal. Her parents are both Canadians , her father being of English - Austrian descent and the mother's family originally from Goa , India . Rath's younger brother Jesse Rath is also an actor.

In May 2020, she married fellow actor Jack Cutmore-Scott , whom she met on the set of the television series Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life in 2015 .

Career

Her first film role was in the youth film Lost and Delirious . Her acting breakthrough brought her the lead role of tennis player Adena Stiles in the television series Matchball für die Liebe , which she embodied for three seasons and for which she received a Gemini Award in 2006 in the category Best Performance in a Youth or Children's Program or Series . After many appearances in smaller series, she was seen from 2011 to 2014 in the mystery series Being Human as Geist Sally Malik . In the series, she played from the third season next to her brother Jesse , who played her series brother Robbie there .

In April 2014, she got a recurring role in the series Banshee - Small Town. Big Secrets. From 2017 to 2020, she starred in the Hawaii Five-0 series as Officer Tani Rey .
