The district of Meißen is the part of the town of the same name in Saxony that belonged to Meißen even before the incorporation . The district is located in the city center on the Elbe and Triebisch . In addition to the historic old town with the Albrechtsburg, it also includes the Triebischtal and Triebischvorstadt districts and Neudörfchen . In addition, Hintermauer , the Görnian suburb , Plossen and Jüdenberg as well as the Kynastiedlung are in the district of Meißen.
