The 1925 Memorial Cup was the seventh edition of the tournament of the same name . Participating teams were champions of their respective leagues, the Toronto Aura Lee ( Ontario Hockey Association ) and the Regina Pats ( Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League ). The tournament mode provided for two games in which the winner was determined solely on the basis of the goals scored.

The Regina Pats won their first Memorial Cup in their third participation in the finals after 1919 and 1922 after two games with 7-3 goals. The tournament was held in Toronto .

Memorial Cup Winner

The Regina Pats team consisted of the players Syl Acaster , Jack Crapper , Jack Cranstoun , Jack Cunning , Ken Doraty , Bert Dowie , Stan Fuller , Johnny Gottselig , Frank Ingram and Ike Morrison . The team's manager and coach was Al Ritchie .
