The 2013 Memorial Cup was the 95th edition of the tournament of the same name , the final tournament of the Canadian Hockey League . Participating teams were champions of their respective leagues, the London Knights ( Ontario Hockey League ), the Halifax Mooseheads ( Québec Major Junior Hockey League ) and the Portland Winterhawks ( Western Hockey League ), as well as, automatically qualified as hosts, the Saskatoon Blades (Western Hockey League). The tournament took place May 17-26 at the Credit Union Center in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan instead of.

The Halifax Mooseheads won their first Memorial Cup after beating the Portland Winterhawks in the final.

Applications

The Saskatoon Blades had prevailed against the candidacies of the Red Deer Rebels and the Kelowna Rockets in the bid to host the tournament .
