Reviews

Stephen Holden wrote in the New York Times on January 27, 1995 that Miami Rhapsody was one of those films that were inspired by "the serious comedies of Woody Allen " . He is more thoughtful and emotionally realistic than the other homages. The director “excellently” masters an ensemble of actors who offer “psychologically rich” performances.

The lexicon of international film wrote that the film was an "attempt at a romantic comedy with depth" , which "mainly due to the unimaginative staging, which not improve by occasional cynicism" would fail. He is also "largely one-dimensional in the character drawing" .
