Michèle Burke (* 1959 in Kildare , Ireland ) is an American make-up artist of Irish descent who has received multiple awards for make-up in film productions .

biography

Michèle Burke began her work as a make-up artist in 1980 for the film Monster in the Night Express by Roger Spottiswoode and was then involved in the creation of over forty films.

For the makeup in Quest for Fire (1981) by Jean-Jacques Annaud she got together with Sarah Monzani 1983 not only the Oscar for best makeup , but together with Monzani and Christopher Tucker in 1983 the British Academy Film Award (BAFTA Award) for the best mask .
