Michaela Giger (born January 13, 1976 ) is a former Swiss duathlete and triathlete . She is Swiss champion long distance triathlon (2006).

Career

Michaela Giger only started triathlon at the age of 26 and has been a professional since 2006. In 2006 she became the best Swiss woman with third place in the Ironman Switzerland Swiss champion on the long-distance triathlon.

Giger lives in Zurich and started for the My Sport Triteam . In 2010 she founded the company My Sport .

In April 2012 Michaela Giger announced the end of her active career. Since 2014 she has been the official popular sports coach of the Swiss Triathlon Association Swiss Triathlon . In 2016 she was on maternity leave.
