Mikosze-Osada is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the Gmina Orzysz ( urban and rural municipality Arys ) in the Powiat Piski ( Johannisburg district ).
Mikosze-Osada is located in the eastern Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, 23 kilometers north of the district town of Pisz ( German Johannisburg ).
There is no evidence of the history of the small town. A historical connection to the neighboring village of Mikosze (Mykossen , 1938 to 1945 Arenswalde) beyond the place name is also not recognizable.
Mikosze-Osada is characterized by the Państwowe gospodarstwo rolne (PGR), a state-owned agricultural enterprise, located here. Its importance can be seen in the fact that the place is the seat of its own Schulzenamt ( Polish Sołectwo ) and thus a place within the urban and rural municipality Orzysz in the Powiat Piski in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
Ecclesiastically, Mikosze-Osada belongs to the Roman Catholic Church in Orzysz and to the Protestant Church in Pisz.
Mikosze-Osada can be reached from the Polish state road 16 from Mikosze and Grzegorze (Gregersdorf) - but only by land. There is no train connection.
