Minstedt ( Low German : Minst ) is a district of the city of Bremervörde in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .

Geographical location
Minstedt is about five kilometers south of Bremervörde an der Oste and is surrounded by Bremervörde in the north, Spreckens in the west, Bevern in the Oste and Sandbostel in the south.

Waters
The Oste flows through the local area of Minstedt . There is a bridge that connects Minstedt with Spreckens via an unpaved road. This was rebuilt in 2013 with support from the European Agricultural Fund for the development of rural areas under the keywords "Land consolidation Minstedt, new construction of a bridge over the Oste" and "Path construction in the land consolidation Minstedt".

On March 1, 1974, Minstedt was incorporated into the city of Bremervörde.

Sports
Minstedt owns a sports field, which is used by the local clubs, in particular the Minstedt club "Minstedt United", as well as the volunteer fire brigade and the youth fire brigade for exercises and competitions.

Minstedt citizens' association
The Minstedt e. V. was founded on January 26, 1974 by 40 residents with the purpose of maintaining the village community and ensuring cohesion in the village. The following goals were set:

- Promotion of customs
- Promotion of monument protection
- Promotion of sport
- Promotion of fishing
- Promotion of the idea of home
Minstedt volunteer fire department
The Minstedt volunteer fire brigade has been in existence since 1950 and has 43 members, 28 of whom are active, 4 in the youth fire brigade and 11 in the age department. The current emergency vehicle is a Mercedes Sprinter body, a portable pump vehicle . Local fire chief is Heiko Kynast. (Status: 2015)
