geography
The municipality covers an area of four km² . The neighboring municipalities are Agliano Terme , Calosso , Canelli , Castelnuovo Calcea and San Marzano Oliveto .
Culinary specialties
Viticulture is practiced in the area around the municipality of Moasca. The muscat grape for Asti Spumante , a sweet DOCG - sparkling wine with low alcohol content and for still wine Moscato d'Asti is grown among others. In Moasca, vines of the Barbera variety are also grown for the Barbera d'Asti , a red wine with DOCG status, and the Barbera del Monferrato .
