Cortazzone is a municipality with 593 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Asti (AT), Piedmont region .

The municipality is part of the Comunità Collinare Val Rilate . The municipality consists of the districts Vanara, Briccarello, Valmezzana and Mongiglietto. The neighboring communities are Camerano Casasco , Cortandone , Maretto , Montafia , Roatto , Soglio and Viale . The patron saint of the place is Santa Rosa da Lima.

The Romanesque Chiesa di San Secondo stands on a hill above the village , built in the 12th century - the bell tower was added after 1600.
