Mohammed Abu (born November 14, 1991 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player .
Career
society
Abu learned ball technique at the Ghanaian club Accra Hearts of Oak . The English first division club Manchester City signed him in 2010 and loaned him to the Norwegian club Strømsgodset IF , where he made 35 appearances and scored one goal.
On January 31, 2012, Eintracht Frankfurt announced that Abu would be loaned from Manchester City until the end of the season as part of a cooperation . On March 30, 2012 he left Eintracht Frankfurt again without having played a game and moved again from Manchester City to the Norwegian first division club Strømsgodset IF . There he made eleven appearances by the end of June 2012 and scored two goals.
After his return to the Citizens , he was loaned to the Spanish first division club Rayo Vallecano in late August 2012 for the 2012/13 season.
International
Abu has been a Ghanaian national player since 2011 . At the Africa Cup in 2012 , he was used in two games for Ghana, including in the game for 3rd place against Mali .
