This meets with refusal from employees to stay away from work. Marjorie, Jill and Wendy rescue her and help out. Christy realizes that Tammy would have been the better substitute.

Christy's new boss at the law firm needs marijuana so she can calm down. She asks Christy to get it at the new marijuana dispensary around the corner. Since she is there for the first time, she also receives gummy bears with marijuana as a present. When Christy later finds her boss in the office completely loaded because she has eaten all the gummy bears, Christy has to try everything to help her sober up for an upcoming meeting. Bonnie has an appointment at the office because she wants to take Adam's last name. But when she tries to give the new name to the laundry, the seller confuses her so much about the spelling that she suddenly has doubts. She postpones the appointment, but does not have the courage to confess this to Adam.

Reluctantly, he accompanies Christy to the meetings, but his condescending attitude bothers her enormously. So she throws him out of the car after a meeting and leaves him standing. Only then is he ready to reconsider his attitude. Bonnie ate chocolate off Adam's bedside table and then finds out that her husband doesn't feel at home. After a big argument, she gives in and tells him to bring some of his personal items from the warehouse to the apartment. But the new wall decoration in the bedroom scares her.

Her therapist Trevor helps her realize that she thinks a healthy Adam would never have chosen to be with a woman like her. Adam is able to convince Bonnie that the old version of himself wasn't nice to women and that they met at exactly the right time. Christy is stressed and aggressive because her boss demands her to the utmost. This even leads to the fact that she is banned from the coffee shop because she takes out her frustration on the barista. But she realizes that she's only doing it to please Veronica. When she complains to her about this, she receives a wage increase.

After that, she feels guilty and Jill helps her find out through Andy who the owner of the car is. She gets to know the owner's son and makes an appointment with him. But the meeting fell through because she damaged his car while parking. When the girls all want to watch a movie at Jill's, Christy puts on glasses and remarks that she should wear them when driving.

While Tammy is being tested, Cookie accidentally lets Bonnie know that she has known about Tammy since her mother became pregnant with her. Tammy gets angry and doesn't think she can ever forgive Cookie. Bonnie assures her that one day she will, just as Bonnie could forgive her mother for dumping her at a fire station. Tammy later meets up with Cookie for lunch and tells her she's not in the mood for a relationship, but will still donate her kidney if she's compatible.

Jill wants to add a shelf in the kitchen, and Tammy offers to do it. But she can't please Jill, and while talking to Jill's housekeeper, Tammy finds out that Jill is taking advantage of all the people who work for her. She always thanks you for doing something, but she doesn't notice that you have to show your appreciation from time to time. Tammy speaks to her conscience, which has unexpected consequences.

Since Christy, Wendy, and Jill have ordered food from her to get good reviews, they go to her and help. Then she also receives an order from Bonnie and Tammy for Trevor. When the women stop for a toilet break, Marjorie and Wendy go in and Tammy, Christy, Bonnie and Jill decide to change the room layout. Arriving at the shelter, Tammy tries to convince Jill to borrow her money for a van that she needs for her construction business. Bonnie is trying to write a book and Jill is concerned about the cleanliness of the inn. Christy meets the attractive Rebecca, who has been dry longer than herself, and Marjorie gets tired of being the leader of the group. Wendy gets food poisoning from a hot dog she ate while stopping at the gas station. Over the weekend, the women try to avoid each other for these reasons and keep changing rooms, but ultimately they all end up in the original pairings. In between, Christy ends up in Rebecca's room and finds out that Rebecca is a lesbian. At first she is confused and flees, but then she gives her a deep kiss when she parting.
