Peter Onorati

Peter Onorati (born May 13, 1954 in Boonton , New Jersey ) is an American actor .

Life and accomplishments

Onorati grew up in Boonton, New Jersey. He studied management science ( business administration ) at Lycoming College and graduated with a bachelor's degree . The attempt at a career as a professional football player was unsuccessful. He later studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University , where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree. He then worked for the Ford Motor Company , among others .

Onorati made his actor debut in 1986 in the television drama Wanted: The Perfect Guy . The following year he starred in the comedy Firehouse , in which Julia Roberts made her debut in a minor supporting role. In the 1990 action film Airborne - Wings of Steel , he starred alongside Nicolas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones . In the television series Joe's Life , he took on the role of Joe Gennaro in 1993 . In the same year he starred in the thriller Breathless Escape alongside Victoria Principal in one of the leading roles. He played other leading roles in 1995 in the SF horror film Femme Fatale from Space and in 1998 in the SF action film Tycus - Death from Space , in which he appeared alongside Dennis Hopper .

Onorati is married to the writer Jeanette Collins and has three sons. He lives in Los Angeles .
