Moravica ( Serbian Моравички округ, Moravički okrug ) is an administrative district in the Serbian heartland.

It consists of the following municipalities ( opštine )

According to the 2002 census, the district has 230,748 inhabitants. The main administrative seat is in Čačak .

There are important religious monuments around Čačak in the form of monasteries and churches. The 10 monasteries named "Ovčarsko-Kablarska Klisura" are of great importance for Serbia. Many of them were built at the time of the Nemanjić , Lazarević and Branković dynasties . For centuries, historical documents and documents were kept in these monasteries and also produced there.

Čačak is one of the most important economic centers in Serbia. The economy is dominated by industrial production. The metal processing companies “Sloboda” and “Cer” occupy a central position, as well as paper production, the chemical factory “1. Maj ”and the arable and agricultural company“ Stocar ”.
