Morgi (also: Kumielsk, German von Löbensche Morgen ) is the no longer official name of a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . The local office is in the area of Gmina Rozogi (rural community Friedrichshof ) in the Powiat Szczycieński ( Ortelsburg district ).
The Morgi branch is located in the southern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 27 kilometers southeast of the district town of Szczytno ( Ortelsburg in German ).
Until 1945 the place of Löbensche Morgen consisted of several small farmsteads and was a residential area of the community Friedrichshof ( Polish: Rozogi ). The place has been in Poland since 1945 and received the Polish form of the name “Morgi”, along with the name “Kumielsk”. Today it is "część wsi Rozogi" ("a part of the village Rozogi") and thus in the rural municipality Rozogi, without being mentioned.
Von Löbensche Morgen was ecclesiastically in the Evangelical Church of Friedrichshof and has been incorporated into the Szczytno parish since 1945 . On the Catholic side, the place belonged to Liebenberg (Polish clone ), today to the parish of Rozogi.
The Morgi (Kumielsk) location is on a side road that leads from Rozogi (Friedrichshof) via Kwiatuszki Wielkie (Groß Blumenau) to Ciesina (Erdmannen) .
Until 1945, von Löbensche Morgen was a stop on the Puppen – Friedrichshof line of the Ortelsburger Kleinbahn . After 1945, the line was extended to Myszyniec , and the small station was operated from 1945 to 1947 as "Morgi", then as "Kumielsk" until the entire line was closed in 1973.
