Moscato di Sorso-Sennori

Sweet white wines and sparkling wines with the designation Moscato di Sorso-Sennori DOC or Moscato di Sorso DOC or Moscato di Sennori DOC are produced in the north of the Italian island of Sardinia . The region has enjoyed the status of a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since March 31, 1972 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014.

Cultivation

The wine is produced in the northeast of the island in the municipalities of Sorso and Sennori in the province of Sassari . The hilly country is located near the Gulf of Asinara , between Castelsardo and Porto Torres .
