The 2020 Motor City Open took place February 5-9, 2020 at the Birmingham Athletic Club in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2019/20 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Silver category .
Last year's winner was Mohamed Abouelghar , who was eliminated in the round of 16 against Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi . In the final of the top seed beat Diego Elías the unseeded Mohamed Elsherbini with 11: 4, 11: 5 and 11: fourth
The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and given a bye in the first round. A wildcard was not awarded.
