Motor City Open 2011

The 2011 Motor City Open took place January 26-31, 2011 in Detroit , Michigan , United States . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2010/11 and endowed with $ 50,000. It belonged to the International 50 category .

The defending champion was Karim Darwish , who did not run this year. In the final Mohamed Elshorbagy prevailed against Omar Mosaad with 8:11, 11: 6, 11: 8 and 11: 5.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The four best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Julian Wellings a spot in the main draw.
