Reviews
The Rhein-Zeitung online said: "Klamauk star Leslie Nielsen (...) clearly feels at home in the role of the parade idiot and is in top form again in this family-friendly action fun."
Peter Stack wrote in the San Francisco Chronicle of December 25, 1997 that the comedy contained few good gags and otherwise "lame jokes". It seems like a low-budget film, is cheap and tasteless in general. Kelly Lynch has fire in her.
The lexicon of international films judged: "A moderately interesting comedy, whose leading actor has to fight against a lot of idling and whose book translates the evil joke of the original rather harmlessly, sometimes also clumsily and ridiculously."
