Stuart H. Pappé

Stuart Herbert Pappé (born July 6, 1936 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American film editor .

Life

Pappé learned his trade as an editor at MCA / Universal . His first involvement in a film was in the spy comedy Jagt Dr. Sheefer (1967) with James Coburn . Since then, Pappé has been responsible for editing over thirty films , including Comedy Class (1983) with Jacqueline Bisset , the thriller 8 Million Ways to Die (1986) with Jeff Bridges , and the film drama Chicago Blues (1987) with Matt Dillon , in the comedy A Normal Wedding Day (1991) with Bette Midler , in the biopic Tina - What's Love Got to Do with It? (1993) with Angela Bassett , in the comedy Sister Act 2 - In divine Mission (1993) with Whoopi Goldberg , in the comedy Mr. Magoo (1997) with Leslie Nielsen and in the adventure comedy Born to be Wild with Tim Allen .
