Reviews
Mike DeWolfe wrote in the Apollo Movie Guide that consistency and logic were a minefield in this film. The ingenuity of the act, however, surpassed its stupidity; a good script creates a story that works. The fact that the “wooden” acting Stephen Baldwin was given two roles would increase the chance that he would play one of them correctly - his portrayal of the clone acting like an automaton was “okay” . The film is entertaining and worth watching.
Jack Sommersby wrote on eFilmCritic.com that the film was a poorly cast and poorly executed adaptation of a passable novel.
Film-Dienst wrote that the film was "a fantasy thriller produced for television that tries to use a highly topical topic for relevant tension effects" .
The magazine TV direkt 15/2008 wrote that the film was "murderous nonsense" .
Awards
Brittney Lee Harvey won the Young Artist Award in 2000 .
