The municipality of Puerto Acosta is a district in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

The municipality of Puerto Acosta is one of five municipalities in the province of Eliodoro Camacho and is located in the northwestern part of the province. It borders the Republic of Peru in the northwest , Lake Titicaca in the southwest , the Municipio Escoma in the southeast , the Municipio Mocomoco in the east , and the Municipio Humanata in the north .
