NUTS: CZ
As NUTS: CZ or NUTS regions in the Czech Republic is called territorial organization of the Czech Republic according to the European "Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics" ( NUTS ).
Basics
In the Czech Republic, the three NUTS and two LAU levels are covered as follows:
- NUTS 1: 1 Území - Czech Republic
- NUTS 2: 8 Oblasti (groups of regions)
- NUTS 3: 14 Kraje ('regions')
- LAU : 6,258 Obce (municipalities) (formerly: LAU-1: 77 Okresy (municipal districts), LAU-2: 6,251 Obce (municipalities))
