Natalie Hof Ramos (née Hof ; born February 15, 1986 in Norden ) is a German television presenter and poker player .

Personal

Hof comes from East Friesland and completed her Bachelor of Education and Theology at the University of Osnabrück with a final grade of 1.9 in 2010 . She was with Pius Heinz , the winner of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker in 2011 , romantically involved. Hof lived for a time in Vienna and Cologne . In October 2016 she began a master’s degree at the Technical University of Dortmund , which she did not complete. Hof got engaged to Brazilian poker player Felipe Ramos in October 2018 and married him on December 22, 2018 in Las Vegas . At the beginning of October 2019, the two parents had a daughter.

Poker career

Hof got introduced to poker through her best friend in 2005 and played her first live tournament on her 19th birthday. In 2011 she took second place behind Jens Knossalla on the ProSieben casting show PokerStars sucht das PokerAss , which made her famous. Court reported for the TV station Sport1 from the European Poker Tour and the (EPT) World Championship of Online Poker and moderated the poker show German High Roller .

At an event on the Eureka Poker Tour in Rozvadov , Czech Republic , she finished second in March 2013 and won prize money of more than 12,000 euros . Her biggest win to date was achieved around a month later at the EPT Main Event in Berlin , where she took 39th place for 18,000 euros in prize money.

On October 1, 2013, Hof was accepted into Team PokerStars as a Friend of PokerStars.de . From December 17, 2013, Hof hosted, as the successor to Jessica Kastrop, together with Michael Körner twelve times the TV total PokerStars.de night originally staged by Stefan Raab (from 2016 the big ProSieben PokerStars.de night ), which was broadcast regularly on ProSieben .

In March 2014, Hof won the EPT women's event in Vienna and received almost 5500 euros for her first win at a live tournament. At the end of August 2015 she was successful again at an EPT main event and reached 139th place in Barcelona . In the fall of 2015, Hof took part in the poker show The PokerStars Shark Cage and played a.o. a. at a table with Antonio Esfandiari and actor Don Cheadle . At the end of 2015, her contract with PokerStars was not renewed. From October 2016 to September 2017 Hof was part of the 888poker team under the nickname 888NatalieH . In July 2017 she was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished 95th in the Ladies Championship for around 1500 US dollars .

Overall, Hof Ramos has earned more than $ 80,000 in poker in live tournaments.
